InGenius Prep Partners with Teach for China

We are very proud and excited to announce our new partnership with Teach For China (TFC)! After launching our collaboration with Teach For America last fall, we set our sights on expanding our reach and our impact. In this pilot program, we will help teaching fellows in China with graduate school admissions by providing them with free webinars hosted by our graduate school admissions experts as well as a discount on our services.

In China today, two thirds of the young population—200 million children located in rural and inland communities— are growing up without access quality education and life opportunities. By enlisting accomplished college graduates from China and the US, and training them as teachers for under-served Chinese schools, Teach for China strives to eliminate educational inequality.

Inspired by their mission and determined to contribute, InGenius Prep’s President, Noah Greenfield, was quoted as saying, “We at InGenius Prep are thrilled to be partnering with Teach for China, one of the finest educational organizations in Asia. Together, we hope we can impact more students and more future educational leaders, in the US, in China and around the world.”

Upon meeting, Teach For China’s Manager of Alumni Impact, Derek Yang, stated “When I met Mr. Greenfield, I started to realize how special and strong InGenius Prep is. InGenius Prep has an amazing staff who has been working for top universities in the US and has been providing pro bono services to low-income students as a good deed. That’s very impressive.”

In response to the newly formed partnership, Yang continued, “I would like to work with InGenius Prep to leverage the best resource to support Teach For China’s fellow on graduate school preparation, [through] graduate school consulting, exam training, mock interview, etc. We also hope that by collaborating, more and more people will get to know about InGenius Prep and Teach For China.”

The pilot program, launched in early May, will pair teaching fellows with former admissions officers and current graduate students from the top universities in the world as part of InGenius Prep’s financial aid program. Together, they will work on every aspect of the graduation application process in an effort to increase admissions success.
